Viewlets 7-8
• Home • Up • Administration • Teachers •

To assist educators in learning how to use the Divisional computerized report card software, the following on-line tutorials have been created. Make certain to set your monitor resolution to a minimum of 800 x 600 although 1024 x 768 is ideal. Click on the links below which provide on-line training using a  "view and do" process without the need to print manuals.

The following Viewlet tutorials are provided to give an opportunity to examine this unique on-line learning process. Once all educators are familiar with the Viewlets below, the vast majority will want to select the "Teachers" link above and examine the Viewlet tutorials that apply to the steps that teachers must follow when completing the Grade 7-8 Jr High Report Card.

If, however, one is a principal or the school's Administration/Manager designate, it would also be advantageous for such individuals to examine the Viewlets below and then choose the "Administration" link above in order to gain a better perspective on the related duties and responsibilities.

GETTING STARTED WITH VIEWLETS

The following two Viewlets should be examined by all educators who interact with the Grade 7-8 Jr High Report Card. Although  the "Teachers" and "Administration" (or their Manager/designate) logon and have different responsibilities, the introductory Viewlets below are common to both sets of educators.

It is recommended that all educators view the common "Getting Started" Viewlet (GS #1) entitled "What is a Viewlet?". This initial tutorial will provide one with an understanding of how to control and use Viewlets for on-line training.  The second Viewlet (GS #2) will provide educators with a mechanism for changing one's screen resolution for optimal viewing of these on-line tutorials.

GS #1 - What is a Viewlet?
GS #2 - How can I change my screen resolution?
