First we wrote a description in our art journals of the main characters in the book. Then we drew all the characters. We each chose one to color. We photo-copied the drawing a few times and we enlarged or reduced its size to fit into a picture frame. We then looked at Barbara Reid illustrations to see how to make plasticine pictures. Then we made a plasticine background. We traced over the photocopy onto the plasticine. We then traced over the flattened pieces of plasticine to make cut out areas of color. Then we added details and textures. Then we typed out our descriptions.
