An example of the city and islands is shown below. Note that the four island neighbourhoods are colour-coded: the North-West Island is shown as blue, while the North-East Island is illustrated in green, with the South-West Island in red and the South-East Island is displayed in yellow. Eventually one of these four colour-coded islands will be revealed to your class and you will begin your search for the buried treasure.

Each of the four islands is now a 36 square kilometer neighbourhood. The treasure is buried somewhere within 1 square kilometer of this city which is made up of four islands and it will take all your team-work and collaborating skills to find the treasure.

Each city quadrant, corresponds to the original island indicated by a neighbourhood in either blue, green, red or yellow. Notice, in this example, how each island is linked to its two ajacent neighbours by a single bridge marked in black. These bridges are only examples and do not indicate exact locations in any one neighbourhood. Furthermore, each quadrant will have it's own captain (teacher) indicated by an e-mail addresses. From the various games(s) on the next screen, identify your captain's (teacher's) e-mail address, your Treasure Hunt Team number and the color and location of the island that you will  be exploring as well as the e-mail addresses of the collaborating teams.
