Career Intern

The Career Intern at St. John’s High School works with the counselling team in an effort to provide Senior Years students with information about post-secondary education, part-time employment and career choices.

The Career Intern is located in the school library. Students can make an appointment with the Career Intern in the office in the Library, both individually or in groups.

The Career Intern can assist students in:

Researching programs at colleges and universities

Applying for scholarships, bursaries and awards

Providing information about financial aid and student loans

Providing career interest and personal aptitude surveys

Preparing for job interviews

Creating portfolios

Writing Resumes
