On the afternoon of Thursday September, 27, many SKS students got ready for the cross country meet they would soon be running at Woodsworth Park. The students where let out of class at about 2:30 to

get their stuff and start the walk to the park. There were many different schools there. The students showed a lot of courage running that outrageously long cross country run. Most of the students said they had been training since September 6, but they also said that it might not have been long enough.
I also questioned the teachers about the race and they indicated that the students trained long and hard, so they should be no matter what place they came in.
The meet was lots of fun, even though it was really cold. I’m sure the students had lots of fun and I look forward to seeing them run in the next Cross Country meet.
