Magazine Covers:
Follow the steps below in order to complete this assignment. This is a project that was done by Meadows West School. You can see examples of their covers below. They did an awesome job. Let's do a great job too.
Step 1:
Open the following Word document and complete the 7 tasks listed. All the instructions needed for successfully completing step 1 are on this document. Do not go on to step 2.
- When you are finished, you may work on assignments for other classes.
Step 2:
Open the following publisher document. Use it to create your magazine cover. Use your pictures, Publisher, Paint, and the websites below to create your magazine cover. Make sure you save it to the Magazine folder you have created. Save it as room#_magazine_yourname. You will be presenting these, so do your best.

Basic Publisher Instructions:
Background Colour:
To change the background colour, click Format, Background. Choose a colour. Publisher gives you a number of options of how to apply the background colour, such as linear gradient etc. You have to click on one of the larger squares to apply the background to your document.
Insert Pictures:
You will notice an icon on the left hand side of your page that has a blue mountain and an orange sun. click on this icon and then click anywhere on your document. You will see a window open. You need to navigate to the place where your pictures are saved. Double click on the picture and it will insert into the document.
If you need more pictures, find them at Mamma.com and Right Click and Copy then Right Click and Paste them into your Publisher Documet.
