2. Last week you did an exercise in PowerPoint with your name and WordArt. You changed the colour, shape, font, etc. of the WordArt of your name. You then used the green button on the right hand side of the bottom toolbar to add 3-D effects to your WordArt. You also set the background colour to compliment the colour choices you made in your WordArt Design.
Using your newly aquired design skills, I want you to design two PowerPoint slides advertising one of these 3 things: Activity Day - February 14th. SKS Idol - February 8, or High School Musical 2 - Spring of 2008.
Add animated Clip Art to these slides by clicking: Insert - Picture -Clip Art or Choosing the Insert Clip Art icon on the bottom toolbar (the picture with the person in it). I would choose clip art on office online.
Enter the type of item you want (Dancer, Singer, etc.)
Put a checkmark in the box next to the clip art you want
You will see a message on the left side indicating 1 item ready for download.Click on this and keep clicking on Download, I accept, open etc. until the clip art opens in the clip art manager.
Hover over the clip art until you see a grey bar appear on the right side of the clip art. Click on this bar and choose copy.
Paste the animation into your PowerPoint. It will only animate when you press F5.
3. If you finish this task, you may work on your assignment for either Ms. Olafson or Ms. Foster.
4. IF you have finished everything, you may have some choice time.
Your first job today is to do 15 minutes of All the Right Type.
Your second job today is to continue to work on the cyber bullying assignment. Use the information from The Becky Smith Article and Site 2 to answer the questions in this Word file.(click here to open the Word file).
