AstronomyA superb site when teaching students the concept of night and day. Students can view a map of the earth showing the day and night regions at this exact moment. They can also view the Earth from the Sun, the Moon, the night side of the Earth, above any location on the planet specified by latitude, longitude and altitude, or from a satellite in Earth orbit. Nine Planets Take a multimedia tour of our solar system. Follow your fingers to see where it will lead. All about the solar system. Students collect Solar System trading cards by correctly answering questions. If they don't answer correctly they are directed to a page with information. Information about the solar system is presented at two levels. The first level is basic and simple information. The second level is more comprehensive.
