The planetarium has exciting shows about flying saucers, black holes and a dying star. It has laser shows and shows that tell children all about planets. Outside the planetarium is a structure that looks like a sundial. It has parts of a solar telescope. It was given to the city by the Polish community in 1973. It just celebrated the 500th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus. He was a sixteenth century Polish Astronomer.- Josh Grisdale - |
