Eaton's is a department store. It was built in 1904 by the T. Eaton Company. It was designed by the architect J. Woodman. When it was first built it had only five storeys. It now has eight floors of things for sale. It is made with a steel frame and has brick walls. It is 713,000 square feet. Eaton's is on Portage Avenue. It is joined to Portage Place and Eaton Place by skywalks so shoppers don't have to go out in the hot and cold weather.
