City Hall

In 1962, the old city hall was torn down in order for the new city hall to be built. This new city hall was much needed since the city was going through major changes. Thirteen communities became one city and Winnipeg became a unicity. The stone walls of this new city hall has fossils of worms, jellyfish and other animals from long ago. At Christmas time a huge tree is decorated at city hall. Our mayor is Susan Thompson.
