CHINATOWN

Chinatown was started in 1909. It has lots of stores, restaurants and houses. There is a big gate called the China Gate. It is decorated with Chinese designs. It is a walkway over King Street. In China town there is the Mandarin Building. It has a copy of the Nine Imperial Dragon Mural, the Statue of Guan Yin, and a bronze Budda. The Dynasty building/Chinese Cultural Centre was built in 1986. It is called an excellent example of Chinese Architecture. It has many roofs. It is at 180 King Street. There are beautiful gardens there too.
