| The Grade 2 students researched animal groups as part
of their science curriculum. They researched specific animals using
informational text. Using mind mapping they wrote facts to later
type them into the slide of their PowerPoint project. Later, they
drew pictures on paper and scanned them into their PowerPoint projects,
drew pictures using KidWorks 2 and inserted them into their projects as
well as scanned pictures from their expository text books to insert
into their projects. With the help of the teacher the children found
pictures on the internet and inserted them into their projects as well.
