| Accomplishments: A hockey arena in East Kildonan was named the Terry Sawchuk Memorial Arena. He was rookie of the year in 1951. He won the Vezina trophy in 1951-52, 1952-1953 and 1954-1955, althogether 4 times. He was voted all time goalie 3 times. and he played in the all star game 11 times. He was inducted into the hockey hall of fame in 1970. |
