Heroes
Swinging from vine to vine
Or like a god laughing and drinking wine.
Battling evil and defending the weak
Their service is prompt not in a week.
Whether saving a damsel in distress
Or a thorn in a lion’s paw
They do it just for a good night’s rest.
But you can always go
Mommy mommy guess what I saw!
Not all heroes fly, run and wear a cape
To save the people that need to escape.
Take some people named me myself and I
I did what I thought I couldn’ T.
Then I said «I will defy!»
Is he crazy? You say what’s the matter with this guy?
To tell the truth all I did was write a speech
I knew the gold was mine, it was just out of my reach.
I wrote freely and followed no rule.
Then I crushed the competition at my school
And won second in the division, that is what I did.
So I will say now kids,
You have the freedom of speech
So don’t shut your lid.
