

House Mouse
The house mouse is a mammal with soft, greyish-brown fur. It can have white and yellow fur on its belly. It measures from 5.5 to 7.5cm long and can weigh from ½ ounce to 1 ounce.
House mice can be found in North and South America, Asia and Europe. They live in cool mountains, deserts, fields and woods. They dig holes for their nests and line them with grass, feathers and fur.
House mice eat almost anything. They can eat meat, plants, leaves, roots and seeds. They also eat household materials like glue, leather and paste.
The female house mouse can give birth to 4-7 young every 20-30 days. She carries the young in her body for 18 to 21 days.
