Rockwood School offers excellence in education with secure, intimate child

Programming is challenging, interactive, and social, and promotes self-reliance

Rockwood School has classes from Nursery to Grade 6 in an intimate small
school setting. It has a stable population of approximately 230 students. It
offers a full range of elementary programming, and also has an elementary
alternative program. There is an up to date computer lab with twenty-two work
stations as well as networked computers in each classroom. Rockwood has a fully
automated library linked to the computer lab. There is a YM-YWCA operated child
care centre within the school that provides before and after school care as well
as half day care for nursery and kindergarten students. There is also a YM-YWCA
run lunch program. The school has an active parent council that is very
supportive to the school.
