Cave of Lascaux
- Fr/Eng Virtual tour of the Paleolithic wall paintings of Lascaux, France. Students of all ages can explore the caves, learn more about the images in the paintings, and discover the materials used by the artists 15,000 years ago.

Color Pencil Challenge

Eyes on Art - by Pacific Bell Education. The site is appropriate for primary students who are just "learning to look" as well as advanced students of the visual arts. Select from among five activities that progressively challenge students' ability to look carefully at the visual arts.
Getty ArtsEdNet
- Getty Center for Education in the Arts -from background knowledge for instructors using a discipline-based arts education approach, to some of the few truly excellent online activities for students, to an elegant presentation of artistic images.
Impressionism
- This unit leads students through the works of impressionist artists of France. Lessons included look at nine French impressionists, how their work shared common characteristics, and how they viewed the world differently.

National Gallery of Art
-The National Gallery in Washington created a variety of activities for children learning about art. Take a tour of the sculpture garden, or explore the colors, shapes, and lines found in Kandinsky's Improvisation 31 (Sea Battle.)
