Small groups of students worked together to research assigned explorers using the internet and written materials. They then wrote a script describing the voyage of their chosen early explorer. The students then created plastercine models to use for an animated clip of their script.

Using digital cameras, the students took pictures to create an animation. They downloaded these pictures, created the animation, entered their scripts, then used Front Page Express to put the show together.
