I just wanted to thank the Room 208 parents and guardians for signing your child's agenda each night. Each student has received a Home Reading folder, which they hand in to me every Friday. It gets returned to the student on Monday, so he or she can record what he or she has read at home on Monday-Thursday. There are specific instructions in the folders. There are "Making Words" activity sheets that go home each Wednesday and are due by Friday. Every weekend there will be some math homework to do. If there is a change in the homework one week, it will be noted in the agenda.
I believe that the connection between the home and the school is very important in order to enhance each student's learning experience.
