and won. They played against the following: River Elm, 2-0, Dufferin, 5-0, Strathcona, 3-0

Judo
by Irwin Juacalla
Mr. Berger is our teacher for the Judo
program. Mr. Berger is doing well on teaching us how to do judo moves like taitoshi,
ogoshi, and half nelson. We have to always bow before going on and off the mat. We also
have to bow when we do judo moves on our partner. The grades 5 and 6 have to get ready
very early to help Mr. Berger with placing the mats on the floor. If we help Mr. Berger,
we get to play a game.
Mr. Berger has two judo classes: one's for
grades 5 and 6 and the other is for grades 4 and 5. Some people stay and help Mr. Berger
with the grade 4s. The grade 5's have to put the mats on and the grade 4's have to
put away the mats. The grades 4's class starts at 2:30 p.m. and the grade 5 and 6 class
starts at 1:00 p.m.
