Polar Bear Gallery:  During the month of February the nursery class learned about animals of the Arctic and Antarctic, particularly polar bears and penguins.  We looked at many pictures of the Northern Lights and we learned how to say "Aurora Borealis."  We concluded our study by creating beautiful water colour paintings of polar bears in the Northern Lights.  Enjoy!

Under The Sea: From the icy Arctic we went "under the sea."  We tried our hands at drawing sea life using pastels.  We then covered our drawings with the colours of the ocean.  Take a look at the gorgeous results in our "Under the Sea" gallery.

Computer-drawn penguins:  From the Polar Bears in the North Pole, we traveled to the South Pole to visit the Penguins.  With the assistance from our Grade 6 friends we had our first visit to the computer lab to draw penguins.  Can you identify all the shapes we used?
