Message
Queenston School is a nursery to grade six school, with a population of 150 students. It is part of the Winnipeg School Division, and is located in a beautiful neighbourhood with tree-lined streets and stately homes. Our community is active in the school and very supportive of our many programs.
Schools must become places where teachers and students live together, talk with and take delight in each others company. Nel Noddings
At Queenston, we know that relationships are the key ingredients in every good school, and we strive to live that every day. I feel privileged to work here with such caring, dedicated and effective teachers and amazing students. When talking with students in classes or throughout the school, their energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Our students are experiencing daily academic success, and know we care about them.
Our parents are a big part of our success, through volunteering, supporting school events, providing us with feedback about their child and school issues, and getting involved any way they can.
Busy classrooms and high academic expectations are the order of the day at Queenston, rounded out with extra-curricular opportunities.
