The Mountain Goat Experience
Several of the students had the opportunity to see Mountain Goat but none quite as closely as Jordan, Jesse and Marcien. Have a look at these images. Believe it or not, Jesse was headbutted by this mountain goat. (Just a little tap but it sure scared him)

![]() Can you believe that it is May 19th? SNOW! |
![]() Marcien and Jesse getting a close-up view! |
![]() Jordan isn't taking any chances. Jesse is almost touching him now. |
![]() Getting Closer! |
![]() We have contact!!! |
![]() The goat is not afraid of people. |
![]() Keep watching! |
![]() Some more! |
![]() 10 more seconds! |
![]() It happens 2 seconds after this picture. The goat puts it's head down and butts Jesse in the shoulder and the leg. It happened really quickly and it didn't hurt him at all. |
![]() Notice the space the boys have given the goat and how the goat has backed off. The boys are smiling and pretty unafraid! |
![]() Jesse is giving him a little more space now as he comes back for more. Can you guess what the goat is so determined to go after on this cement pillar? |
