Igloo
The dwelling of the Far North Inuit is the igloo. It is made of snow and ice and built by hand. Igloo comes from the Eskimo word "Iglu". The Inuit made their dwellings with ice, snow, a snow bone probe, and a knife or a snow saw made of Caribou antlers or Ivory. |
