Rebecca's hypothesis: I think that more effort would be put in when you pick it stright up. Rachaels's hypothesis: The steeper board will take more effort. Amy's hypothesis: I think that you would use more effort on a steep board and not as much effort on the gentle board. Sarah's hypothesis: I think that most effort will be required when the weight in the tin can is lifted upwards without a slope. The gentle slope will require the least amount of effort. Alex's hypothesis: I think that the most effort will be required when we pull the weight straight up. Observations: When we pulled the weight straight up, it weighed a lot more than when it was pulled up on of the slops. The steep slope required 120g less effort than pulling it stright up and the gentle slope required a lot less effort then the steep slope. |
