Landscapes
Room 140 has been creating
landscapes in the style of Ted Harrison. These images were created on the
computer using Paint. |

To make this picture, we first
looked at the artist, Ted Harrison. We looked at his use of line and
colour. My picture is about a dark night and an evil red sky. The pictures
that Ted makes are cool because they are always wavy, and the way he makes
the colours is also pretty cool. The program I made my picture in is
called paint. In the program paint, we went to edit colours and chose
different shades of paint and then I put them into custom colours. When we
all finished our paintings we copied them into Student Writing Center and
then we wrote about our picture paintings in the computer lab.

To make this picture, we
first looked at the artist, Ted Harrison. We looked at his use of lines,
and colour. First I was going to make the sea. But I made grass and the
sky. I used lots of colours. We made our painting in the art room. I'm not
finished yet. It is fun doing this. I have curvy lines in my picture. Ted
Harrison does not use just straight lines. Some lines are curvy. We used
custom colours to change colours if they were not there. Ted Harrison used
dark colours on the top and bottom of the picture. The middle is light
colours. He does nice painting. It was sort of easy.

Frist we did the painting
on the computer then we went to the art room. Then we started to paint.
The colours I needed were blue, red, yellow and black to make the colours
dark. It took me about one week or so because I never had time to finish.
Some people are doing two pictures each right now I am on my second
picture. By the way we started all this on the comptuer thanks to my art
teacher Mrs Rallison.

colours. I like how he does his lines. They are not just straight lines.
They are curvy. I made this picture on the computer. We used a program
called Paint. It was sort of hard. Then we went to the art room to make it
on paper. I chose this picture because I like how my lines go. My lines
are curvy like Ted Harrison's. Ted Harrison used dark colours on the top
and light colours in the middle and that's what I did.

his coloured pictures. And then we went to the art room and made some more
pictures. And then we came in the computer room to talk about what we did
in the art room. And we mixed colours by custom colours to make different
colours in paint.
