A long time ago in 1958 there was an old, old man named Bob. He liked the kids in the neighborhood. Every day he would go for a walk to the store far from his house. There were three kids who bullied on him there. They never stopped bullying him until he became a racer.  He used to race in race tracks, he raced in empty lots, he mostly raced in New York City.  His home town was called Nunavut. Nunavut is a cold, cold place. There is polar bears and seals there. Bob used to race in his back yard in Nunavut.

Freddy and Jayson were in China. Freddy found a boat it was night time. Jayson fell off the bridge into the water. Then he swam to the boat that Freddy found and he was saved.

This is a Story About Picking Flowers

Once upon a time I was picking flowers in the woods. I was watching the waves and the boats going by in the lake. I saw a girl in the water swimming in the water. I saw people sitting and looking at the boats in the lake where fish swim in the water. Then I went swimming with the girl in the water and my brother came in the water and my mom came in the water. We love the water. We went home to eat supper. Then we went back swimming. Then I picked flowers again. The flower smelled good. Then I went home with my mom. I slept over at my mom's house for one night.

The Forest Fire

In 1975, there was a fire in the forest in California. There was a boy and a girl who lived in California with their father. They went to get a quilt to go to the fire to save their dad. Their dad was in the forest. They see a man he was named Jesus. The man named Jesus saved the boy named Dylan. The girl died and the boy named Dylan lived. The girl died because she fell down and died in the forest fire.

Fire Fight

A long time ago Freddy saw a fire. He told his friend Bob that there was a fire. The fire got bigger and more dangerous. It was in Winnipeg. Bob died in the fire. Bob had a funeral. He got buried in his back yard. Freddy put the fire out, it was a lot of work. It was in 1888. Freddy lived. Two guys named Cameron and Allan met Freddy and they all moved to Bloodvein. It's a small town it has 40 houses. We met a new friend named Kevin. We got robbed. They robbed the TV. They bought a new TV.

The Snowy Blizzard

One snowy day there was five people making music. One is dancing and one is sitting in the snow. There names are Ben, Jon, Jay, Terry, Allan and Kevin. They went hunting in the woods but they couldn't ever catch deer. They stayed in the woods all day. They tried all day to kill a deer then they finally did catch a deer. They caught deer over and over. The people got lots of meat then they sold all the meat. They made masks out of animal skin then they went hunting again. They can get all the dear in the whole world, they were good hunters. They hunted for sturgeons and they hunted for bears and one more deer.

My name is Lewis. Long, long ago I was watching TV at home in the country. Then my blanket flew out of the window. Then I went to get my blanket. I saw a huge fire. I got burnt on my leg. Then I went to the hospital. I got my leg fixed. Then I went home and I saw two boys named Dylan and Jesus. We made friends. Then I saw a meteor coming right at us. We ran, no one died. Then it rained hard. We ran in to my house. So we played tag. Then a tornado came, but it was in the U.S.A.. Then I grew up. I was eighteen. I was in a different house. It was cool.

I am going to go back on the boat with my flowers, I am going for a boat ride again. I am going home and I am going to put my flowers on the centre of my table.

This is a Story in 1975

In 1975 there was a sun set and it looked like a fire across the river. I thought it was a fire across the river because I was far away. I was walking with my brother, my uncle and niece. We were walking along a path and a girl was drowning in the river. We saw a blanket on a branch. We were going to take the blanket and cover the girl. My father was going to jump in the water and save the girl.

Long, long ago in 1975 I went to the city to go on a holiday to go visit my Aunty. I went on a boat ride with her. I was going to go for a swim but the water was too dirty. I got off the boat and had a cup of tea. Then I watered the flowers in the yard. My mom was coming to my Aunty's so I waved to her. I was talking to my neighbour. We were talking about going for another boat ride. A day later I went on another boat fide. I went inside to get an umbrella . It was going to rain. I had a white umbrella. My mom came again to see if I was OK. I was getting babysat by my Aunty. My Aunty and her friends gave me a lot of food. It was really good. My mom and I went home. When we were home we went to McDonalds for breakfast.

Foam People

A long, long time ago my mom,  my dad and my family went in to the basement. We went to the basement because the tornado was going to destroy everything. It was destroying some of our basement. We brought the pet with us.

Tornado Over Kansas

A long, long time ago when a tornado ripped through our town my mom and my dad told me to put the puppies down. The puppies were slipping out of my arms when I was running with them. The tornado got closer and closer. The cat scratched my brother so then mom said there is Band-Aids in the underground shelter. Under there was a lamp so we could see the Band-Aids. We slept two nights in the underground shelter. Then we came up out of the underground shelter and there was nothing left accept a horse that was dizzy because he got out of the tornado. But then my foam person came to me. I blacked out, I woke up and I was in my classroom, not being chased by a tornado. I dreamed I was in the painting by John Stewart Curry.

My friends have a tornado at their house. When the tornado was heading to their house they went to a hole. The hole was dark. When they went to the hole they were safe.
