Lord Nelson’s lunch program is run by parents and governed by the Parent
Council Committee. Fees are $1.25 per day which includes 1 white milk. We also
provide chocolate milk for an extra .10 cents. Students can enjoy a warm lunch
with the three microwaves that we have. Plates, napkins, plastic spoons, forks
and straws are all provided by the lunch program. During the bad weather, when
students cannot be outside, games and puzzles are provided for the students. Fee
must be paid daily of in advance.
Income tax receipts will be issued to families who have paid $25.00 or more in
daily fees upon written parental request.
Children attending the lunch program are expected to be respectful to the staff
and each other. If children are misbehaving they will be spoken to with a
warning, a letter will go home to the parent/caregiver and possible
suspension/permanent suspension may be given (depending on the severity of the
situation) from the lunch program. Any letters sent home to parents need to be
signed and returned to the school so we know that you are aware of the concern
and have received the letter. If you need to speak to any lunch program staff,
we can be reached between 11:30 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. or leave a message with the
office and we will get back to you.
