Open the Math Table Spreadsheet created in
Spreadsheet Part 1.
Using the mouse, highlight from cell A1 to cell L12. Click Edit then click Copy. Next
click in cell A15. Click on Edit again. Now click Paste. This should copy the spreadsheet
that has already been completed. Change the colored numbers in cells B15 to L15 and cells
A16 to A26. Start with 10 and go to 20. Observe what happens in your spreadsheet as the
numbers are changed.
Next click in cell A29. Explain how the computer keeps the contents of your copy in the
clipboard until you do another copy or cut. Click on Edit and then Paste. You should now
have recopied your original addition table. Change the addition to multiplication. Click
on Edit and then click on Replace in the box beside Find What type the "+" sign,
push the Tab Key, in the box beside Replace With Type the "*" symbol. Observe
how your table has changed. Now in cell A29 type the word Multiplication or Multiply to
replace Addition.
