This activity is contained in two files.  The sample lesson is contained in the Paint file, "Venn.bmp". An additional question sheet can be accessed in the Works word processor file, "Venn.wps". For use on a network, the Paint file should be installed in a shared, read only directory on the server (WSD#1 uses S:\2Student). The word processing file is an additional resource for the teacher.  If you wish to download either of these files, click on these links "Venn.bmp" and "Venn.wps." (Please note these files are not available at this time.)

After launching Kid Works 2 and opening Story Illustrator, children are then directed to create a Venn diagram and use the stamp keys to enter symbols for their data.   (Children need to bring data that can be demonstrated by the stamps.)

Minimize Kid Works 2 and launch Paint. Use text to type in categories and comments.
