Details:

During the Science unit on FLOATING and SINKING, students practised their subtraction skills by sinking 3 boats. We demonstrated how to use the rope scissors to circle a sailboat. Next, clicking on the PICK option on the menu bar, students were instructed to click on the FLIP VERTICAL option, to sink the sailboat. Grade 1 students wrote a number sentence i.e. 5-3=2 while Grade 2 students keyboarded the math sentence THERE ARE 2 BOATS LEFT as well as the number sentence. Students coloured their picture and added to the picture i.e. sun, stars, moon, birds, etc.
