Using a Paint or Paintbrush program, students will identify a number of three dimensional
shapes, then sort and classify them according to shape and colour.

This activity was prepared using Paint and is filed as
"3Dgroups.bmp". For use on a network, this file should be installed in a shared,
read only directory on the server, such as S:\2Student. After launching Paint and opening
the file, students, in a large-group setting, can orally identify the shapes that appear
on the screen. They then can use Paint's select tools to circle or frame a shape, drag and
drop it onto a classification grid that will sort the objects by two attributes -
