Title:  Recognizing and Naming Fractions

Specific Objective: Grade 3 Number N-II.1.3, pp E80
- illustrates and explains fifths and tenths as part of a region or set.
Description: For each Fraction Strip, click on the accompanying Calculation View.  To enter the fraction; first enter the numerator, then click on "a/b" on the toolbar, and enter the denominator.  To check your answer, double click on the icon corresponding to the fraction strip.  
Note:  If the activity includes halves, thirds and fourths, it would fit as a Grade 2 activity (N-II.1.2 pp. E50)
If the activity includes tenths and hundredths, it would fit as a Grade 4 activity (N-II.2.4 pp. E128)
