Bursaries

Bursaries are cash awards to help students pay for their post-secondary education.  Awarded mostly on the basis of financial need, but some are based on academics as well.  Most of the time, bursaries will not require high marks, but at least passing marks of a "C" or better.  This is to ensure that students are at least trying and worthy of receiving aid.

Bursaries are considered gift awards and therefore do not need to be repaid (unless otherwise stated).

Many post-secondary institutions have bursary programs that you can apply for once you are a student and are attending classes in September.  Visit your university/college financial aid office in September of your first year for more information and applications.

For the purposes of this web-page, any bursaries listed will be in the scholarships section.
