regular season games and the Western Semi-final with Calgary…he
recorded 73 defensive tackles (career high), four pass
knockdowns (career high), two forced fumbles (tied career high),
three quarterback sacks and three tackles for a loss.
2004: Played in all 18 regular season games
with Calgary...in 2004 Scott showed his desire to play the game
when he recorded career highs in several categories despite
playing the majority of the season with an injured
shoulder...Coe finished the season with 71 defensive tackles
(third on the team...single season career high), tied for fourth
on the team in sacks with 4 (single season career high), tied
for team lead in forced fumbles (2) and led the team in fumble
recoveries (4) (both career highs)...Scott also recorded two
interceptions one for a touchdown which tied his single season
career high in 2003.
2003: Played in 14 regular season games in his
second year in the league with Hamilton...picked up 26 defensive
tackles, two knockdowns, two interceptions for 11 yards, one
tackle for a loss, one sack and finished fourth on the team in
special team tackles with 13.
2002: Scott played his first CFL game with
Hamilton on June 29 vs B.C. ...had a season-high three special
team tackles July 18 at B.C. was second on the team in special
team tackles with 16 to Randy Bowles (23)...selected by the
Tiger-Cats in the 5th round (43rd overall) of the 2002 Canadian
College Draft...signed by Hamilton in May, 2002.
College: Played four seasons for the University of Manitoba (1998 to 2001)...key member of a Bison team that was a Vanier Cup Finalist in 2001...Coe was a big-time performer for the Bisons, and in 1998 was named Canada West Rookie-of-the-Year...in 2000 he was a second Team CIAU All-Canadian and a first Team CIS All-Canadian in 2001...in 2002 Coe ranked second in Canada West with four interceptions for 93 yards and made 27 defensive tackles...while at the University of Manitoba Scott studied the Arts.
