50% of this course is practical in nature. It is critical that students attend and do the activities.

50% of the course is written tests, assignments, and projects.

Students are expected to complete a practical exam in Tai Chi, a practical hands-on exam that deals with a treatment of their choice, and a written exam in the exam timetable.

The techniques that are taught in this course are taught by a registered massage therapist and body worker. All work is supervised and applied in safe, professional and effective ways.

Many students have found these techniques are helpful in increasing their own health awareness and helpful for family members who suffer from chronic pain. All students are encouraged to practice their work at home.

Final marks are calculated by using 70% of the term work and 30% of the exam grade
