Mathematics 10F (MATR1F) / Mathématics 10F (MATF1F)

(F designates a Fundamental Course in Senior 1)

The central focus of this curriculum is problem solving to construct understanding of
mathematical concepts and skills. Reasoning, communicating, visualizing, estimating and
making connections between mathematical ideas are all emphasized in this program. The topics
studied are: math reasoning-basics for problem-solving, statistics, polynomials, spatial geometry,
linear relations, similarity and congruence, probability, powers and exponents, trigonometry,
measurement, and transformational geometry. This is a full year course.
