MAMBK4S - Standard Level IB Mathematics

Note:   This course runs from September to April, with classes every second day.  The International Baccalaureate exam written in May covers the topics listed in PCMB4S – 40S IB Mathematics and all of the remaining topics shown below to be covered in 40S Standard Level IB Mathematics.

Evaluation:       Tests and Portfolios

You will need a graphing calculator (Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus), pencils, eraser, ruler, looseleafs and a binder.  Keep all of your notes and daily exercises organized in a binder. 

A test will be written at the end of each chapter.  All tests are cumulative.  Tests will be returned the following class.

It is your responsibility to get as much help as needed in and out of class time.  Forming a study group with classmates is helpful.  I give extra math help from 8:00 – 8:30 am Monday – Thursday and from 3:30 – 4:30 pm Wednesday.
