To do well in this course, you should have a good prerequisite mark (70% minimum) and good work habits.  There will be mental math and homework every class.  You are responsible for all mental math and exercises.

Good attendance and punctuality is essential.  You will need a scientific calculator, pencils, eraser, ruler, red pen, looseleafs and a binder.  The homework from the previous class must be completed and corrected with red pen.  Keep all of your notes and exercises organized in a binder.  Assignments will be randomly collected for marks.

A test will be written every third week.  All tests are cumulative.  Tests will be returned the following class with the test corrections due the following week.  A parent signature is required to have your lowest test eligible to be dropped.

It is your responsibility to get as much help as needed in and out of class time.  Forming a study group with classmates is helpful.  I give extra math help from 8:00 – 8:30 am Monday – Thursday and from 3:30 – 4:30 pm Wednesday.
