Applied Math 40S (APMR4S)

A continuation of Applied Math 30S. Topics include matrix modelling, vectors, taxation,
personal finance, probability, variability and statistical analysis, design and measurement,
applications of period functions, sequences. Students must have a graphing calculator (TI-83
Plus). This course by itself is not accepted by the University of Manitoba for a Calculus
prerequisite. Students attending the University of Manitoba will need to take a further upgrade to
qualify for Calculus.
