Images and sounds used in
documents, web pages, presentations or publications created for educational use
are subject to Canadian copyright law. Web
sites providing images and sounds typically contain a copyright use statement;
please read the copyright use statement carefully before copying (e.g.
downloading) these media from the Internet.
Many images and sound
files may not be legally copied. If you have questions about legality
of copying an image, please talk with Joanne Peters

Copyright cleared sources of image and sound files for educational and personal use are listed below:

Go to “Clip Art
and Media” and browse the various categories to find a variety of graphics
(clip art and photos) and sound files to download and save for use in
presentations. Each time you select an image or sound, you are presented with a
license statement to which you must agree before downloading the image or
sound.

A collection of
