BORROWING POLICIES |

How many items can be borrowed? 3 items (books and magazines). How soon are items due back? 2 weeks - please renew items if needed longer than two weeks. Are there items which can't be borrowed? Yes - most Reference Books (encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.) are for use in the Library only. Is it possible to reserve an item? Yes - please ask at the Circulation Desk and staff will place a reserve on the item you wish. What happens if an item is Overdue ? Nothing else can be borrowed until overdue items are returned. What happens if an item is damaged or lost? Willful damage to Library materials is considered to be vandalism, as defined by the Winnipeg School Division South District Student Code of Conduct. Students will be expected to pay for replacement of irreparable materials. Serious cases of vandalism will be handled by Kelvin High School administration. Lost items should be reported to the Library staff. It is expected that lost items will be replaced at their current market cost. |
