When you look at my 3-D Room Project, I would like you to notice:
that I didn't do our class room but I did the Kindergarten room. My sister had done my class room the year before and Mr. Hum and I thought that I should do a different class room. I want you to notice that all of the children's cubby holes are there. I would also like you to notice that we made the water table and put blue modeling clay to make the water. We used corn meal in the sand table. My dad helped me to make the toy furniture in the room. I would also like you to notice that we used clear plastic to make the windows. You might not be able to see the outside of the building, but I found bricks on the computer and used them to cover the outside of the box.

I used the following materials to complete my project:
I used lots and lots of computer paper. I used balsa wood to make the furniture, the doors and other items in the room. We used paint on some of the furniture. We tried to make sure that the colours actually matched what was in the room. We had to make up some of the paint colours. We used a big box that my mom got from Costco. We used a lot of hot glue, (mom even needed some bandages where she burned her fingers).

I want you to know that:
we had to go to the Kindergarten room a lot of times before we could even start this project. We took lots and lots of pictures of the room to work from. My father spent a lot of time carving the black chair. We made the carpet 3 different colours in the room. There are things that are in the various cubby holes around the room. We made the day planner that the kids use in the class room. We made a computer and computer desk. We also made a fridge that is by the teachers desk. It was a lot of work making all of the furniture that is in this room.
