 Something I Want you to Know About Me ….

 

By Grade 2,  Room 34

 

On the first day of school the Grade 2 students were asked to write and let me know something special about themselves.  Here are a few of their thoughts.

 

I like to go on walks                     Kearah

 

I am a soccer player for three years.  I play with my friend and my team.                 Aaron

I like to play with my toys.                         Jeremy

 

I like going to the park.                 Joleen

 

I like to play with my brother.       Kayla

 

I went to Niagara Falls. It was fun.           Matthew

I love my dogs and cats as much as my mom.      Emily

Intermediate News

 

The past few weeks of school have been an exciting time for the teachers and the students in getting to know one another.

 

Classroom routines are being established and CAP assessment in Language Arts and mathematics has begun.  Students have helped generate their own classroom rules and expect to follow them so that they may learn in a positive classroom

environment.

 

Parents and/or guardians, please read and initial your child’s agenda daily.  The students write down any homework they need to do and important information for the home before school has ended.

 

It was wonderful seeing so many students, their siblings and parents/guardians at the school barbecue. 

 

If you have any concerns, feel free to contact your child’s teacher between 8:30 a.m.—3:30 p.m.
