November Music News

 

There is lots of excitement in the Music room these days!  Besides the usual singing, playing instruments and games this is what is happening:

- Oct. 26: a group from the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra performed for all students in Inkster School.

- Friday, Nov. 9, 10:45 a.m.: Inkster Remembrance Day Assembly, Intermediate Choir and Honour Choir will be singing.

- Monday, Nov. 19, a.m.: Intermediate Choir is singing at Choral fest, at Sturgeon Creek United Church.  Parents are welcome to come and listen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We will soon be getting ready for our Winter Concerts:

- Tuesday, Dec. 18, 7:00 p.m.: Winter Concert for Nursery, Kindergarten, gr. 1, gr. 2.

- Wednesday, Dec. 19, 7:00 p.m.: Winter Concert for gr. 3-6.

Crime Awareness Presentations

 

Winnipeg Police Service officers will be presenting information on target hardening your home, your children and your community.  There will be a special presentation on “Internet Safety” and the Neighbourhood Watch Program.     Attendees will receive an 80 page Crime Prevention Handbook and be eligible for a door prize.  You can visit our website at www.winnipeg.ca/police for further details.
