JobWorks is offering:  Free Educational Assistant Internship Program.  If you are a low income parent   interested in employment as an educational assistant, this program might work for you.  An information sheet is available at your school office or phone Paul LaPorte, Program Coordination, at 510-0990.

Epilepsy Support Group: We are always looking for new members, or people who might just be interested in     knowing more about epilepsy.  If you are interested, please call Leanne at 582-3055 or email at                           leanneski1@yahoo.com.

Destination Learning Child Tutoring Program.   The Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba’s Children’s      Program is looking for students!   Provides individualized literacy support to children aged 6 -11 years old, through one-to-one tutoring. For more information contact Cheryl Nicholson, Intake Coordinator, at 774-1821, ext. 10.        617 Erin Street in Erin Square.  Cost: $60 for nine weeks.  Spring session beings on April 29th and May 1st.

APPLE SMILES

 

Ingredients:

·   1 red apple

·   cream cheese

·   mini marshmallows

 

Directions:

1.  Core and slice apples.

2.  Spread cream cheese on apple slices . Place mini marshmallows around the edge of one.

3.  Put two apple slices together, put on a plate with skin side showing and eat.

BRAIN FREEZE

 

What you need:

· A blender

· ice cream

· chocolate syrup

· 1/2 cup ice

· 1 - 2 cups of milk

 

Directions:

1.  Put the ice cream, ice and chocolate syrup in the blender.  The amount of chocolate syrup depends on how much you really like chocolate.

2.  Pour the milk in but don't make it too milky.

3.  Blend until thick and creamy to drink. YUM.
