To wrap up Multicultural Month, we will be having an Edu-Fair on Wednesday, May 28th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Intermediate News
Welcome to the second last month of the school year! The intermediate team has been busy planning many wonderful and exciting events for our students. Last month we had an opportunity to participate in “Jog in the Park” at the Assiniboine Park. We enjoyed the morning getting some exercise by running, jogging and walking and spent the afternoon at the Zoo. The monkeys gave us quite a show!
Students also had an opportunity to participate in our “Math Games Day”. A big thank you goes out to all the teachers who put the day together, planning many exciting math games and activities.
We would also like to thank the members of WISE for coming to our school and giving such informative presentations to our students.
We had a wonderful show of parents at our Student Led Conferences. Our students worked so hard to prepare all of their work to show off. They should be very proud! We have another couple of busy months ahead of us. Let’s make the best of them!
Sincerely,
Inkster School’s Intermediate Team Ms. Ashton, Mr. Hawash, Mrs. Schultz, Mrs. Tayfel, Mrs. Zdrill
Physical Education
This month, grade 5 & 6 girls’ and boys’ softball teams will be traveling to Little Mountain park for a tournament.
All grades 4—6 students traveled to Assiniboine Park on April 23rd for a promotion by the Manitoba Marathon called “Jog in the Park”! We ate our lunches at the park, then visited the zoo in the afternoon. It was a cool day, but fun for everyone!
In regular PE classes, during the month of May, all classes will be doing jump rope activities.
