A special thank-you to all of our patrols who go outside on duty during our cold Winnipeg winter days! Please help them out by reminding your children to listen to and cross with the patrols and follow the safety rules. We all must work together to ensure the safety of all of our children!
The Winnipeg School Division is hosting its annual “Learning Together Conference” at Sisler High School on Thursday, January 31st (7-9 pm) and Friday, February 1st (9 – 3:30 pm). The conference is open to all WSD parents and caregivers for free! The Thursday evening sessions are for parents and children to attend together. It is a great opportunity for bonding with your children! The Friday sessions are a wonderful opportunity for parents / caregivers to learn more about education and how you can help your children at home. Registration forms and information are available in the school office. Space is limited, so register early!!
We have a DATE CHANGE for you to put on your calendar. Our whole school PD was changed from February 1st to February 22nd! INKSTER SCHOOL will therefore be closed on Feb. 22nd so that the teachers will continue their own professional development. Please check the Calendar of Events on page 7 for individual class closures.
If you have any CANADIAN TIRE MONEY at home that you are not using, please bring it into the office. We would love to be able to increase the amount of outdoor equipment we have for recess. Every few cents adds up! We would appreciate your help!
Stay warm and have a great month of January!
