Text Box: Welcome back to school! I hope everyone had an enjoyable break! It is always so exciting when we return to school, rejuvenated, full of excitement and ready for our final term of learning!

We have spent three days with our Family Group at Inkster School. Each student in Nursery through Grade 6 has been grouped into a mixed “family group” with students of all ages. We have had so much fun creating our flags, reading and most recently, learning to play Aboriginal Games. We had An Aboriginal Games Day in March and saw some wonderful acts of sharing, caring and kindness displayed by so many of our students. It was wonderful to see the many positive interactions between students of all ages and abilities! Congratulations to everyone for all your hard work and commitment to being respectful of one another!

Congratulations to Mrs. Peters for her work in organizing our annual Talent Show and to our students who shared their talents! What a fabulous array of talent we have at Inkster School!

Congratulations to our students who qualified for the divisional Tec Voc Science Fair! Lukasz, David, Laura, Abby, Michelle, Sarah, Victoria, Montana, Richard and Carl will show their project at Tec Voc on April 11th and 12th. We wish you all the best as your compete for top ranking in the school division.

We will be hosting our Student – Led Conferences on Thursday, April 17th in the evening and on Friday, April 18th during the day. Our Book Fair will be open in the library on Thursday, April 17th only from 4 – 8 pm. There will therefore be no regular classes on Friday, due to our conferences. This is an important extension of your children’s learning when they are able to share their successes with you. We hope to see everyone in attendance!

Student-led Conference - Interview Request Forms will be sent home with your child tomorrow, Tuesday, April 8th. Please fill in your forms and return them the following day so that the staff can coordinate interview times at lunch on Thursday.

			CHILDREN COME FIRST!
THEY ARE OUR MOST VALUABLE RESOURCE!
